Year 2 Scotswood Nature Garden

Year 2 enjoyed a morning at Scotswood Nature Garden.

They first learned to identify different types of minibeasts by investigating the different characteristics and parts of the body they possess. The children then had the opportunity to carry out a mini-beast hunt around the garden and in different habitats such as under rocks, on trees, under bushes or on different types of plants.

The children also had the opportunity to explore the garden through play such as making dens and climbing trees!
