Safer Internet Day 2026 was marked on Tuesday 10 February, centred around the theme “Smart tech, safe choices – Exploring the safe and responsible use of AI.”This important event encouraged children and young people to think carefully about how they use artificial intelligence, voice assistants, and online content, helping them make safe and informed choices in the digital world.

Across the whole school—including Year 2—children took part in an online assembly featuring safety talks and thoughtful discussions about the theme.Following the assembly, pupils designed and created their own AI safety posters to share the messages they had learned.
