Year 2 Fractions

This week, in Year 2, children have been learning about fractions.
To extend their learning, the children played problem-solving games like ‘true or false’.
A question is asked and children decide if the statement is true or false. Once they have decided they move accordingly but they must be able to explain their reasons of why they chose their answers. The children are encouraged to use key vocabulary and to use their knowledge of fractions.
