In class we discussed what we would improve about our local area and the amount of litter was a clear concern. Year 5 have been busy creating clay pieces that depict animals in our community with litter in their environment and without to show the impact of looking after our local area. This contributed to a Pride in Place art exhibition the children were able to visit and see their artwork along with other schools who had been involved. The children were amazed by what they saw and took a lot of pride seeing their work alongside the exhibition. Well done Year 5!
