RE Nursery W.B. 19.10.26 ✝️
This week in RE, we learned that Christians believe God made each person unique and special, which means that every person is important and valued by God. ❤️🙏 We discussed how, as well as caring for the world around us, we must also take care of ourselves. 🌍💙
The children explored different ways we can look after ourselves, including keeping clean, washing and drying our hands, brushing our teeth, eating healthy foods, exercising, and getting enough rest. 🧼🪥🥗🏃♀️😴
We spent time learning about the importance of having a daily routine and how routines help to keep us healthy, safe, and independent. ⏰✨ Using our class timetable, we talked about the different parts of our school day and why these routines are important. 📅✅
The children demonstrated their understanding of independence by ordering the steps involved in getting dressed. 👕🧦👖 They carefully discussed what comes first, next, and last, showing excellent recall of daily self-care routines. 🌟
We also focused on the importance of handwashing and practised washing our hands correctly to help keep germs away and stay healthy. 👐🧼🦠❌ The children were able to explain when we should wash our hands and why good hygiene is important.
Throughout the lesson, the children showed a wonderful understanding that looking after ourselves is an important way of caring for the special person God created us to be. 💖🙏🌈
