Nursery – Week Beginning 3rd March: The Gingerbread Man

This week in Nursery we continued our topic of Traditional Tales and focused on The Gingerbread Man. 🍪📚

We had lots of fun listening to the story and retelling it with our friends. The children enjoyed acting out parts of the story and talking about what happened to the Gingerbread Man as he ran away. 🏃‍♂️

In maths, we used our number recognition and counting skills to give the Gingerbread Man the correct number of buttons. 🔢 We also worked together to build bridges to help the Gingerbread Man cross the river safely. 🌉

In phonics, we learned the letter ‘n’ and practiced recognising its sound in different words. 🔤

It has been a fun and busy week of learning!
